Product description

Suited to early morning rides and cold descents, this lightweight gilet easily packs away in a back pocket, always leaving you well equipped and prepared for the sudden shower. This piece stands up to the elements while helping you stand out on the road with its attractive new seasonal colourways. Constructed from a DWR-treated Japanese fabric technology, the gilet offers optimal wind protection and will withstand the occasional shower.

Light and Packable

Living up to its namesake, this ultra-lightweight Stow Away Gilet can be easily rolled, folded, and packed away in the back pocket of your jersey, keeping out of your way until you need it most.

Non-Fluorinated DWR Finish

The Stow Away Gilet’s unique double-woven fabric construction is treated with a DWR finish. This causes water droplets to bead together and roll off the surface, preventing the fabric from becoming saturated with moisture. This gilet’s fabric uses a 100% PFC-free, non-fluorinated DWR finish, which is capable of degrading more easily and with no lasting toxicity to the environment.

Balancing Breathability and Wind Resistance

The gilet’s unique fabric structure was selected as a means of creating a protective outer layer that would be capable of delivering an optimal balance between breathability and wind resistance. The tightly woven outer surface protects from the elements whilst a more openly woven inner surface helps move moisture away from the body.

Anatomic Fit

The Stow Away Gilet is constructed to fit close to your body. This helps to limit any access points for cold, exterior air from entering at the collar and arms, affecting your body’s microclimate and negating any aerodynamic advantages.

Product Features

Fabric

The gilet’s fabric uses a double weave construction of very fine yarns to protect against wind and still promote breathability, whilst the DWR finish helps repel light rain and snow.

Mesh Sides

Stretchable mesh side panels help hold the gilet close against your body while delivering an extra level of ventilation.

YKK Zipper

This gilet features a robust double-sided zipper with a woven Road to Nowhere branded zip puller to provide easy access to your jersey pockets and promote additional ventilation when desired.
